Ryan comes to BioPoly with more than 20 years in the orthopedic industry with experience in a variety of leadership positions including executive management responsibilities for product development, commercialization, and business development. Mr. Schlotterback has a track record of team building and innovation including 27+ patents issued or pending. “We are very excited to have Ryan join the executive team and to lead the organization. I am confident that his leadership and strategic vision for BioPoly will take the company to the next level,” said Herb Schwartz.
Most recently, Ryan spent 8 years with Nextremity Solutions, playing a key role in the strategic direction of the company which was ultimately acquired by Medartis AG. Ryan stated, “I’m honored and thrilled to be joining BioPoly. I look forward to working with the team to move the company through this next exciting phase of the business. I’ve been aware of BioPoly for some time and have always felt there was an incredible opportunity to bring BioPoly products to the market that can truly impact patients’ lives. We’ll continue to expand the portfolio with our innovative BioPoly material while strategically increasing our commercialization efforts.” Mr. Schlotterback received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Applied Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
